Ruben Stepin of SKYTRAC is excited to attend this event from June 6th – 8th in Hamburg, Germany, alongside the AirFi team.
Aircraft Interiors Expo, or AIX, is an annual event hosted in Hamburg, Germany, focusing on practical and innovative solutions for cabin interiors and in-flight entertainment. Touted as the global marketplace for the world’s cabin interiors and in-flight entertainment, AIX is a professional platform where airlines, designers, engineers, specifiers, and manufacturers can engage with the widest range of products, ideas, and solutions in one definitive marketplace. This is a must-attend event for anyone looking to create the cabin concepts of the future.
AirFi, a leading provider of portable in-flight entertainment (IFE) solutions, is no stranger to this event and has attended in the past to showcase its IFE solution: the AirFi box. As a safe, compact, and easy-to-deploy IFE solution, the AirFi box has seen strong interest in the industry as a change-maker in the IFE landscape and has even won awards at AIX. This year at AIX, their focus will be promoting their Mall in the Sky proposition and their Low Earth Orbit (LEO) connectivity solution developed alongside their partners Iridium and SKYTRAC.
SKYTRAC is honored to attend this event alongside AirFi and further support its mission to offer LEO connectivity within the cabin. Utilizing SKYTRAC’s lightweight and modular midband solutions, AirFi can successfully enable LEO connectivity cabin-wide without needing to impact the hull of the aircraft whatsoever. The simple solution of installing compact and portable antennas within the windows of aircraft results in a simple and low-cost solution for regional air carriers wishing to provide LEO connectivity in the cabin.
Not only will this LEO solution start rolling out in June of this year, but it is also currently up for a Crystal Cabin Award in the IFEC and Digital Services category. As aviation’s connectivity platform, SKYTRAC is excited to support AirFi in this venture. The winners of this prestigious award will be announced on the first day of AIX; if you are attending, we hope to see you at the awards ceremony.
Join us and AirFi at AIX.
