DLS-140™ FAQ
The DLS-140™ contains the Quectel EM12-G LTE Advanced cellular modem. It is designed for global use and nearly covers all the main stream carriers worldwide.
The WiFi uses 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, and the channels depend on the regulatory domain selected. More information can be found in the User Guide under the WiFi & Cellular section. If using a more capable Companion WiFi option, you will want to disable the Gateway WiFi.
When installed on an aircraft, SKYTRAC recommends an externally mounted cellular antenna, which would be defined in relevant STCs. An operator has the option to connect an antenna (“whip-style”) directly to the cellular antenna connector on the DLS-140™.
